Project: Low Slope Full Roof Replacement
Pre-cutting of the modified membranes into working length and width to conform to the roof top conditions. The installation of the modified membranes ensuring the plies are perpendicular to the roof slope Upon properly installed SopraFix Base 613 the contractor heat welded the Soprema Sopralene Flam 180 Interply SBS membrane to the manufacturer’s specifications. The specified side laps and end laps were maintained. The necessary heat was applied to ensure full adhesion of the roll. The specified hot bitumen flow and asphalt bleed out at the laps were present. A heat welded base flashing ply was installed at the roof to wall transition to properly seal the roof system.
